SUNDAY SONGS: ‘Be Unto Your Name’ by Robin Mark

We are a moment, You are forever
Lord of the Ages, God before time
We are a vapor, You are eternal
Love everlasting, reigning on high
Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Highest praises, honor and glory
Be unto Your name, be unto Your name
We are the broken, You are the healer
Jesus, Redeemer, Mighty to save
You are the love song we’ll sing forever
Bowing before You, blessing Your name
Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Highest praises, honor and glory
Be unto Your name, be unto Your name
Be unto Your name
Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Highest praises, honor and glory
Be unto Your name, be unto Your name
Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Highest praises, honor and glory
Be unto Your name, be unto Your name
Be unto Your name
Be unto Your name
Be unto Your name
Be unto Your name
Be unto Your name
Be unto Your name

SUNDAY SONGS: ‘Haven’t Seen It Yet,’ By Danny Gokey

Waiting can be the hardest thing in the world for many of us to do, especially for those who work on Capitol Hill under the pressure of constant deadlines and continuous expectations of performing without mistakes.

It can be doubly difficult if you are a follower of Jesus who prays for something, but don’t see the answer. You know He’s not a “name it and claim it” God, but that doesn’t necessarily make waiting for an answer any easier.

As Danny Gokey sings in the following video, maybe the answer is there, but you just haven’t seen it yet:

SUNDAY SONGS: This Is Elevation Worship’s ‘Graves Into Gardens,’ Featuring Brandon Lake

I searched the world
But it couldn’t fill me
Man’s empty praise
And treasures that fade
Are never enough
Then You came along
And put me back together
And every desire
Is now satisfied
Here in Your love (Hey)
Oh, there’s nothing better than You
There’s nothing better than You
Lord, there’s nothing
Nothing is better than You (Oh)
(Yes, I know it’s true)
(Come on, stand up, hey)
I’m not afraid
To show You my weakness
My failures and flaws
Lord, You’ve seen them all
And You still call me friend
‘Cause the God of the mountain
Is the God of the valley
There’s not a place
Your mercy and grace
Won’t find me again (Come on, now)
Oh, there’s nothing better than You
There’s nothing better than You
Lord, there’s nothing
Nothing is better than You
(I know it’s true)

Oh, there’sā€¦

SUNDAY SONGS: The God Who Stays (Matthew West)

If you’ve ever discovered somebody you thought was a friend you could depend upon wasn’t, or a spouse who would always be there had left, or that you were hopelessly lost in an addiction, Matthew West wrote and sings this song for you.

Listen to the music below, then read through the lyrics reprint after the video. And think about the friend who never leaves your side, who never lacks the grace you need, who loves you with an eternal love. You’re thinking about Jesus, my friend. He will change you and your life forever if you follow Him as your Lord:

If I were You I would’ve given up on me by now
I would’ve labeled me a lost cause
‘Cause I feel just like a lost cause
If I were You I would’ve turned around and walked away
I would’ve labeled me beyond repair
‘Cause I feel like I’m beyond repair
Oh, but somehow You don’t see me like I do
Somehow You’re still here
You’re the God who stays
You’re the God who stays
You’re the one who runs in my direction
When the whole world walks away
You’re the God who stands
With wide open arms
And You tell me nothing I have ever done can separate my heart
From the God who stays
I used to hide
Every time I thought I let You down
I always thought I had to earn my way
But I’m learning You don’t work that way, no
‘Cause somehow You don’t see me like I do
Somehow You’re still here
You’re the God who stays
You’re the God who stays
You’re the one who runs in my direction
When the whole world walks away
You’re the God who stands
With wide open arms
And You tell me nothing I have ever done can separate my heart
From the God who stays
My shame can’t separate
My guilt can’t separate
My past can’t separate
I’m Yours forever
My sin can’t separate
My scars can’t separate
My failures can’t separate
I’m Yours forever
No enemy can separate
No power of hell can take away
Your love for me will never change
I’m Yours forever
‘Cause you’re the God who stays
You’re the God who stays
You’re the one who runs in my direction
When the whole world walks away
You’re the God who stands
With wide open arms
And You tell me nothing I have ever done can separate my heart
From the God who stays
You’re the God who stays
You’re the one who runs in my direction
When the whole world walks away
You’re the God who stands
With wide open arms
And You tell me nothing I have ever done can separate my heart
From the God who stays
