Would Becoming A Christian Change How A Hill Staffer Lives And Works?

NBC “Dateline” cold-case detective J. Warner Wallace was a Los Angeles police officer for eight years before he became a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and it changed how he saw the people he arrested and investigated and ultimately how he saw himself as well.

It’s perhaps understandable that a law enforcement officer would view himself as “one of the good guys who puts bad guys in jail.” But that’s not an attitude that is unique to cops; we all tend to view ourselves as good guys, no matter how much we have to ignore about ourselves.

Wallace candidly discusses in the following video some of the most significant ways in which he found himself changing and the ways he approached his work differently as a result of his becoming a Christian:
