Recent Moves, As Reported By Legistorm:
Drew Story is the new legislative assistant for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.). Story comes from a year-long stint working for Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.). He has a Ph.D. in chemical and environmental engineering from the University of California at Riverside in 2018.
Arjun Mody is the Senate Republican Conference’s newly hired staff director, under Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wy.). It’s a return engagement for Mody, as he previously served in the same job under Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) Arjun is a 2004 graduate of the American University Washington College of Law, as well as a 2003 graduate of the Arizona State University College of Law and a 2000 La Salle University graduate in political science.
Chris Farrar is moving his office impedimenta from Arkansas Republican Sen. John Boozman’s Hart Senate Office Building quarters where he was a legislative assistant to those of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Minority Staff in the Rayburn House Office Building, as the new newest professional staff member, under Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas). Farrar received an international affairs certificate from American University in 2012, and he is a 2012 political science graduate from Sewanee, THE UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH.

Samantha Medlock was a senior vice president at Willis Towers Watson PLC, but she is now the new senior counsel for the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, under Rep. Kathy Castor (D-Fla.). She earned her JD from the Vermont Law School in 2008 and she is a 1999 Summa Cum Laude from Texas Women’s University in government. She served under President Barack Obama in the White House as deputy associate director of the Council on Environmental Quality.
Rachel Huxley-Cohen is Sen. Tammy Duckworth’s (D-Ill.) new deputy communications director. Previously, Huxley-Cohen was communications director for Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.). She is a 2015 graduate in political science and public affairs from Suffolk University.
Another new deputy communications director on Capitol Hill is Matteo Cina, who moves over to the office of Rep. Michael Waltz (R-Fla.). Previously, Gina interned for Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas). He is a 2016 graduate in history from the University of Dallas.
